Q:Where is your bakery?

A: Delyscious Treats is a home based bakery in Diego Martin, Trinidad.

Q:Do you only make cakes and cupcakes?

A: No, while we are mostly known for cakes, cupcakes and decorated cookies, we do make a wide variety of desserts and dessert cakes.

Q: Is there a minimum order for cupcakes?

A: Yes, a minimum order of 1 dozen per flavour.

Q: How much advance notice do you require?

A: The earlier you get your order in the better. This way you will ensure that you get the date you require before it’s booked by someone else. It’s a good idea to place orders AT LEAST 1 week in advance or more. It is recommended for large orders, like weddings to have 12-8 weeks advanced notice. This will give us time to design and special order any necessary elements for your event. With that said, if you have an order within a closer time frame, you can still ask. We always take orders until we have reached our production capacity.

Q: What if I have a food allergy?

A: While we try our best to avoid allergens, please be aware that while your cake may not be made with nuts or a nut product, it will have been prepared in a kitchen where nut products may be used in other cakes and fillings. We cannot guarantee that your cake will be free from all nut traces. All of the cakes, fillings and icings may contain, or come into contact with, soy, wheat, dairy, nuts.

Q: How do I place a custom order?

A: Orders can be placed by email or through our order form. It is critical to capture the details for custom orders, which is why we choose to have a “paper trail” on orders for reference purposes. Feel free to also send inspiration photos if you have.

Q: When do I need to have a custom order placed?

A: Given the variability of demand, we never know when we will reach our order capacity. As such, we suggest placing custom orders at least 1-2 weeks in advance. However, on occasion we are able to accommodate orders within a closer timeframe, so if you need a cake within short notice, please ask about our availability.

Q: Why is there a lead time required for custom orders?

A: Everything we make is made from scratch and made by hand in small batches. This means that our cakes and baked goods need time for planning, baking and decorating.

Q: How are your dessert items priced?

A: Our dessert items are priced per piece. However, keep in mind that some items require a minimum amount to purchase.

Q: How are your decorated cookies priced?

A: Custom cookie prices vary depending on the size of the cookie and the complexity of the design. There is a minimum order of 1 dozen cookies. Gift wrap options are also available for an additional cost. We also offer cookie platters for events. Please message us for more information on this.

Q: How much notice do you require for custom cookies?

A: We require at least 1 weeks notice on custom cookies. For large orders, we may need more time. Again, it’s best to order well in advance of your required date to ensure you get what you’d like.

Q: What type of payments do you accept?

A: Currently we accept cash and cheques.

Q: Do you ship?

A: While this is not something we do on a regular, some of our cookies have been shipped around the world! Send us a message if you have an inquiry.

Q: Do you deliver?

A: We can offer delivery to certain areas at an additional cost. Prices vary based on distance. However, sometimes during seasonal occasions (eg. Christmas) we may not be able to offer delivery.

Q: Do you offer set up at my event?

A: Set up is included in all wedding orders.

Q: Do you rent cake stands?

A: We do! We have a variety of cake stands (and our collection keeps growing!) All rentals require a refundable deposit that will be reimbursed once the item(s) are returned and in good condition.

Q: Do you offer seasonal gift items?

A: Yes, during the holidays (Christmas, Valentines, Easter etc.) we have predesigned gift sets available. We release items through our mailing list. It is a good idea to choose your items and book early, as most items are limited quantity and sell out quickly.
